As one of the creators of RTMP at Macromedia, she takes us back to a time before Firefox, Safari, and Chrome and shares the story of the origins of RTMP and video streaming on the web. Sarah discusses why specific design choices were made and how they have stood up over time. Sarah also shares why RTMP still drives most live web video today and adds some thoughts about what she is working on to drive the future of the RTMP and RTMFP.
